Shuozhou Branch sets a new record for pipe jacking installation

The water main line of the Qingxu raw water direct supply project in the connection section of the Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project, undertaken by Hanjianhe Shanshuozhou Branch, is about 36 kilometers long. Since the start of the project in 2014, Shuozhou Branch has strictly controlled the production progress, and each sub-sub-division project has been completed one after another. In the process of pipe installation, the most difficult construction is the pipe jacking project of Xiaodian water supply crossing the Fenhe River. Through repeated demonstrations by industry experts, Shuozhou Branch started the jacking construction of DRCP2600 pipe jacking on January 8, 2022.

The Xiaodian water supply pipe jacking through the Fenhe River is located in the water-rich sand layer with a depth of 22 meters at the bottom of the Fenhe River. According to the geological survey, the pipe jacking line is located in the water-rich sand layer and the complex and abnormal geological area with high groundwater pressure. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the pipe jacking project, Shuozhou Branch specially arranged technical backbones to guide the construction site. The technicians gave up the Spring Festival to reunite with their families, and adhered to the site every day to follow up the construction progress. They guide the hoisting in sequence according to the pipe number on the ground, and at the same time monitor the jacking pressure and jacking speed at the bottom of the well, and promptly correct the unfavorable effects of the pipe due to uneven force surface, abnormal jacking force, and deviation correction during the jacking process. The construction method ensures that the pipeline will not leak and collapse under the condition of high groundwater pressure and high jacking resistance.

After 60 days of continuous struggle for pipe jacking across the Fen River, the DRCP2600 pipe jacking successfully withstood the severe test of high groundwater pressure and large pipe jacking resistance during the process of pipe jacking for 510 meters, and finally successfully crossed Fen River on March 8, 2022 river.

The smooth completion of the DRCP2600 pipe jacking project of Xiaodian water supply crossing the Fenhe River marks that Shuozhou Branch has achieved a new breakthrough in the technical level of installing long-distance, deep-covered soil pipe jacking. The milestone of Hanjian Heshan has added a strong touch to the Hanjian Heshan brand.
